We reached over 600 signatures in just two weeks! The response from the people of the third district has been amazing. Even people outside the district want to sign the petition and are fed up with the status quo.
The top issue continues to be the economy but a surprising second is corporate sponsorship of politicians. Many people I speak with are concerned about the influence of PACs and special interest groups influencing their leaders to the point that they (the leaders) do not accurately represent the people’s best interest. I’m proud to say that I am not in anyone’s pocket nor have I received any funds from special interest groups.
